TV on the wall or anchored?
DH things mounting it to the wall is the safest option but I worry it could fall off the mount. Isnt it safest to keep it on the stand and then anchor it to the wall? What set up do you have in your home for your TV?

I had a wall mounted tv and it was SOO hard for me and DH together to get it off. I had to move these hinges and lift at the same time and honestly could not have done it myself, definitely a two person job. So I don't see a child being able to do it accidentally. Also they hold a ton of weight, so they can't be broken off the wall. I'd be sure to drill into studs to give extra support when you put it up.

In our living room we have the TV on a TV stand and in our bedroom we have it mounted to the wall. I think either is just as safe as long as you mount it properly.

I think that they're both safe so it might come down to what your design preference is. Having said that, I voted on the wall because it's unreachable for LO, versus anchored where it's still a temptation.

We have it anchored, but if we had our choice we would put it up on the wal, unfortunately due to the placement of our thermastat it's not possible!

No LOs yet, but ours is on the wall and its high and back from the table below it, so a kid would have to be 6-7 to even touch the TV.
