My 19 month old is both the twister and the rod the last couple days. I'm hoping it ends soon. My older one never did this!! Haha!

@sorrycharlie: Hahaha, this illustration is great! Mine does the slow poke move, followed by the rod. It takes everything in me to not lose it as I move pretty fast

Absolutely the slow poke, particularly when someone is waiting for our parking spot.

The 20 month old is the rod, with a bit of twister thrown in when it's really inconvenient Makes me crazy!

My daughter isn't pictured here. She gets into an L shape with her chest on the bottom and her legs in the air. Haha

D is the slow poke. He wants to look at and tell me about everything. A will do the rod, but more often she wants to sit up straight rather than lean back, and no amount of trying to push her back can get her to just sit.theeff.back. so I can put on the straps!

@Iced Tea: omg! LMAO!!!
@littlebug: Yes on the slow poke reasoning. Once DS is in it, we're fine. He doesn't mind his car seat, but he's curious about everything and wants to tell me about this and that. Oh lordy child. Just get IN your car seat first then tell me!

Luckily DD only does this with the stroller- all of the above. She has not realized the car seat is an option yet.

We've had rod moments, for sure, but she's the slow poke through and through. I hate the fact she insists on climbing in herself and doing her own seat belt up (I then check and tighten) - especially when its raining!

haha, Xander was all of them, but so far (knock on wood), Logan's (20m) been easy getting in the car!

Sometimes does the rod when we're getting into the stroller after daycare.

Funny! Mines is slow poke, but he knows how to click in the top buckle. So he goes faster so he can do the top. Usually once I get the baby strapped in, then DS will be ready for me to do the bottom buckles.
