I always seem to carry on my left, but wow, as baby gets heavier (18lbs+), I am starting to notice that I'm sore on that side. Probably need to start lifting weights or switching sides more often.
Do you prefer one side over the other? Which one?

I tend to carry her on my left too. I think I do switch sides without thinking sometimes but my back is still sore!

Always the left!
I think I remember reading somewhere that we default instinctually to the left because it keeps the baby closer to your heart, which is a soothing sound for newborns. I have no idea if it's true, but it's a sweet thought!

Left hip most of the time. I'm trying to remember to switch it up.

I always carry on my left so that I can have my dominant right to do things like cook.. I have tried to switch it up but just don't feel as stable, so I have just resigned myself to be "lopsided" in my biceps
