LO's first birthday is 3.5 months away. Since I am on summer vacation I want to start planning but am torn between these two themes: dinosaurs or monkeys.
LO has a ton of monkey stuff and we call him monkey. But the dinosaurs are soooo cute and I don't think he has preference one between the other.
Which would you pick?
ETA: I had a chocolate banana cream pie the other day that was to die for that I would have for the monkey party. Just incase food is a deal breaker for you.

Both are cute! I would do monkey, especially since its tied to what you guys call him, and having a ton of monkey stuff already would help keep costs down and make decorating and planning for the party a bit easier.

Monkeys are more babyish- for a 1 year old.
Dinosaurs are awesome but I think he'd have to be 2 to appreciate that theme.

I agree with above posters - use them both! Just monkeys for birthday 1 and dinosaurs for birthday 2!
