DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE WHATSOEVER?
The straw doesn't even go all the way down! I think Playtex actually changed their straws maybe 6-12 months ago, because when I bought them for dd last spring (she wasn't ready) I swear the straw was longer...and at target I saw they recently changed things up again (not a fan.) Other than that I actually don't think playtex cups are bad..the one with the handles is better.

Oh, and if you just shove the straw together without paying attention it is easily even shorter than what's pictured here...

I have seen so many cups like that, and I don't get it either. Especially since many of the LOs I see tip the cup, so they get even less.

On some of our older Playtex cups I have to bend the straw so there's actually clearance for the liquid to come through. Otherwise she's just sucking on the bottom of the cup.

We have these ones (with the handles) and it's annoying. DD has finally figured out getting to the bottom of the cup and knows when to ask for more now.

We just take the bottom straw out and he tips it like a bottle to drink. But yes, so stupid!

YES. I hate Playtex cups for this reason. Sadie has one with the handles, and it's so annoying.
