If you have a Christmas tree - what color are the lights on it?
This year we gave our 3 year old the choice. Most of the lights have burnt out on our old fake tree so I have to string it every year. I had a bunch of white and color lights. Guess which one she chose? 
I ended up stringing some white lights up with the color lights and I think it looks great!

I like both! I'd love to get some strands that can either be white or colored. Our current tree is prelit white lights.

White on the tree. The ornaments are a riot of color.
We go all Clark Griswold on the outside, with crazy colored lights and a ton of inflatables, so i need something calmer inside the house.

Ours are colored on the tree and outside, white on the garland on the stairs

We have two trees (for the first time ever), one with white lights and one with colored lights. I prefer white lights, but I think the colored lights are more fun for kiddos.

Only white, I use the pre lit and then I string up the bigger round balls as well to give it some variety. (thanks Pinterest)

I've been doing white, but I know growing up, I preferred colored, so I think I might get some for next year.

I prefer white and DH prefers colored. We ended up with a pre-lit tree that can be switched back and forth 
I let him get colored for outside this year too. I'm a pushover.

I prefer white, but they are colored. Eh, it's a family fun time. No more picture perfect tree at our house. And outside will be very Griswold'ish when DH gets out there.

I never do anything other than warm white on our tree. It feels so warm and classic and cozy! But we have colored bulbs for the house.

I don't celebrate Christmas, but if I did, I'd pick white lights. This whole discussion reminded me of this cartoon I saw on FB the other day about how kids affect your holiday tree decorating:

We have colored lights white looks better with our family room decor, but colored make me happier and my kids love them too.

Colored - it is very important to DH and I'm Jewish, so I guess his preference trumps mine
