I feel like EVERYTHING requires assembly!
Who assembles your LO's gear?
It's pretty much 60/40 in our house. Since DH is traveling a lot, I usually put LO's toys together! Just recently assembled her tricycle!

Uhhh that would totally be me. I probably assemble 80% of our furniture and toys. I can't STAND it when DH does it cause he opens the box, examines the contents, counts each item, spends 15 minutes reading the instructions... I'm like "HURRY UP ALREADY!!". I just go at it. I don't even read the instructions at first (only if I'm stuck and can't figure out a piece). He gets frustrated when I breathe down his neck and eventually just lets me do it.

Usually my husband. If I do it he just has to redo it.

Me! 100% of the time. Dh doesn't follow directions and he doesn't have the patience to deal with the 29384745 steps in the Ikea instructions. I don't mind them. I actually told him that it would be 'fun' to assemble furniture for Ikea. He thought I was joking.

I love assembling furniture, especially if it comes from Ikea. DH assembles more technical things like gadgets, or other things that don't have clear instructions...

DH... 100% of the time. I usually sit on the floor with him for moral support b/c I'm like @artbee: DH would just have to re-do it if I tried. lol

DH usually. I don't like to figure stuff like that out and he can usually do it without reading the directions so go him!

We both do. I actually really like assembling things and did most of my own furniture in college, but DH also likes to assemble things. It usually turns out that he'll take charge, and I'll help out to make things faster.

@runsyellowlites: I put together our dining room chairs wrong twice. Then he finally did it. So I'm too scared to put things together for lo, I don't want to hurt her!

@artbee: The real funny thing is over the last few months I've found myself asking myself "how the heck did I function before DH?" I mean I was a single parent for almost 5 years... yea I had a good support system but now DH takes care of all of those things include tech stuff, software, computer stuff... I mean I did do that all once but not it's like I can't. lol

@runsyellowlites: I was really only in college without my husband. I had the guy who lived under me fix my computer all the time, and I rented so I could just call the apt. complex if something was wrong with my house. But I agree, sometimes I sit there with a jar that I can't open and think, what would I do if hubby wasn't here?
