DD1 didn't really start getting hair till she was almost 2. I'm being serious. I trim her bangs often and trimmed her hair once because it was growing all uneven. I just wanted to even the ends out a bit. I might take her to a kids salon when she's older and might want something a little different than bangs and a blunt cut. 
DD2 is 15m and her hair is starting to come in but definitely not long enough for a trim yet!
Do you cut/trim your Lo's hair or do you take them somewhere?

Kids salon for hair cuts. I gave them bang trims last month.

I do DS's - he has a buzz cut so its easy
DD has curly hair so it doesn't need to be cut

Only my sister (just yesterday.) She's a hair stylist and would be seriously offended if we took our LOs anywhere but her and I trust her the most!

My son had curly hair so it's been easy for us to trim, but just when he turned 3 we brought him to Snip-it's for the first time for a "real" cut.

I trim LO's bangs (I do my own too). Her hair is down to her butt and she refuses to have it properly cut, she will only stand for a trim. So far her great-aunt who is a hair stylist has trimmed it and so have I.
When it comes time for a true cut, I'll take her to a kid salon.

We go to a salon (we've been to a regular one and a kids' one). DS is 15mo and has already had three haircuts!

A friend of mine cuts DS hair. He will only let her cut it. I want to try and cut it, or buzz it, but he says "no! Only Julie!"
I refuse to cut DD hair anytime soon!

For his first haircut we took him to a kid's salon, but I'm not really interested in paying $25 on a regular basis for "cut as much as you can before he gets too wiggly". For a while we took him to a place near us but the last haircut he has was TERRIBLE (so terrible. The daycare lady said "What happened to his hair? Did you do it yourself?" and the stylist at the salon we took him to for his next haircut said "I'm really sorry somebody did this to his hair") so for his last cut we went to First Choice. I think he's adorable no matter what but seriously, the lady gave him the "Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber" cut.

I get bang trims for $5 at my salon- they do a much better job than kid salons! I get her hair cut there 2x a year.
