My mom did. But that's also because starting 5 years old my parents got divorced.

For the most part we didn't cause my parents too much trouble, so day to day discipline was done by my mom. My dad is very laid back but you definitely didn't want to make him mad, when he would drop my first name and call me by my middle name only, I knew that I was probably in trouble.

My mom did the day-to-day because she was at home with us. My dad was the one to "lower the boom." You knew you were in trouble when you had to go to your room until Dad came home from work...

My mom was also a SAHM, but they both disciplined me like crazy. My dad took it up a notch though. A few notches actually.

Mom did because she was home with us. If we were in big trouble we would be sat down with both parents. I really dislike this idea of "wait until your father hears about this". It makes it seem like mom can't disciple her own children and it turns dad into a threat/scary person. I want my children to respect us, but not to fear me or my husband.
