Today is our 4th day of sickness...low grade fever (which is really rare for LO) and major chest congestion with labored breathing. We were called to come pick him up from school Friday. He has a doc appt this evening.
Besides lethargy and coughing, he's pretty happy and he's been sleeping through the night somehow! But I hate having him this sick :(.
Who else is home on the couch?

Double ear infection for my LO today! She woke up in the middle of the night complaining of ear pain and sure enough!

My younger one was home today. She's had a rough weekend and was still sleeping so on a whim we decided to let her sleep and keep her home.

We are. Daycare is closed for MLK anyway but this is his 3rd daycare virus this month and it got both DH and I crazy sick too. Quarantine for us this weekend.

I do. My poor preschooler hasn't been healthy all winter! She has a fever and horrible cough that keeps her up all night. We've been pumping the cough medicine, homeopathic remedies (ivy leaf), motrin, vicks vapor rub, camphor in the humidifier....everything! I just want her to feel better.

OMG ME! LO threw up twice this morning and may have a fever. School is off so she's home with our random high school babysitter because both DH and I have to work :'-(

@Rainbow Sprinkles: @gingerbebe: this is the third for us to, it's just the worst of them all. I had something else Terri Le right after the new year that luckily he didn't get. It's been a sick sick winter!! I'm hoping we are all immune by next year :/.

Me
LO has stomach bug. He threw up for several hours yesterday pm/evening. Today he is doing better but still has had some tummy pains. Daycare is open today and I was going to go in the office but it's nice to stay home on such a cold day.

One of mine. It's been a few days so the fever has broken and rash cleared up but he's still acting like a grouch poor kid.

Another sick preschooler here
DD complained of a sore throat yesterday and then threw up twice in the middle of the night from being so congested and coughing so hard. We've been cooped up on the couch watching videos most of the day.

I'm not today, but was home Thurs-Sun with a sick baby. 102 fever, miserable, cranky, up a thousand times a night....we had a nap on the floor with the kitty, too. Sad but cute

I'm home with my sick 3 year old. He's got an ear infection and sinus infection/conjunctivitis He's been relatively healthy until now so I can't complain too much. Here's a sad baby picture for you to set the scene...

I ended up taking Dylan to ER because he had such a. Coughing fit that he had really labored breathing. Freaked me out. He sounds ok, but they did a chest X-ray to be safe.

My little men are congested and snotty but sent both to daycare today. Worried my older one has strep. No fever but his voice is funky and he came home with almost his whole lunch uneaten and said his throat hurt when he was eating. Daycare didn't call us though and he ate at home fine. Ugh. Sick kiddos are the worst.

I've been sick but no one else has...until tonight. DS has a sore throat and he's mad that he has to mess up his perfect attendance record at school, lol.
