We split it where DH gets any middle of the night wake ups or early feedings while I get up once she's up for the day. Our reasoning: we used to take turns and have one night be someone's entire responsibility while the other had the night off. But I had a terrible time going back to sleep once DD woke up for her 4:30/5 am bottle while he hated getting up at 6 or 6:30 for the day. This way I sleep better at night and he has no problem falling asleep after an early bottle. We started this a few weeks ago and it is working great!

LO still nurses overnight and in the morning, so, I'm up with every wake-up. However, if LO doesn't go back to sleep within 15-20m, I pass him off to Sweetie. We alternate sleeping in on weekends...usually until 10 - 10:30.

I do early morning nursing, so my husband gets up when baby is awake so I can sleep in.
