We are moving into a house (much larger than our current apartment!) with enough bedrooms to give each of our three daughters their own room. I thought I knew from the beginning who was getting each room, but now that I need to choose paint colors, I'm second guessing my plan. The bedrooms are:
A) The "princess suite" - definitely the largest; has its own ensuite (which also has a door to the hall) bathroom with a shower only (no tub). Closet is decent sized but not walk in; room also has an extra closet (set up like a linen closet, but doesn't need to be used for common storage - there are plenty of other closets). It is across from the master.
B) the next biggest bedroom; has a huge walk in closet and shares a jack & Jill bathroom (with a bathtub) with room C. Kind of in the middle of the floorplan "behind" bedroom A and next to C.
C) the smallest room (but still plenty big!); has a huge walk in closet identical to bedroom B; shares the jack and Jill bathroom. Is sort of next to the master (separated by laundry room).
All rooms have good light and are equidistant from the stairs; none are really far from the master - the entrances all open onto a central landing
The girls are 4 years, 2.5 years and 3 weeks (so she will mostly sleep in my room for awhile). They're all pretty good sleepers. Currently the 4 and 2.5 year old share a room - its fine aside from some bedtime silliness but I think the 4 year old is kind of over it and ready for her own space. We have a guest bedroom, playroom (living room), and office (dining room) planned for the first floor, so no one NEEDS to share, but technically still could.
So...how would you distribute these rooms? Your solution doesn't have to include one room per child, at this point I am open!!
ETA: currently between the three of them we have three convertible cribs and one dresser...and won't be able to buy more furniture right away...in case that influences your opinion!
