Wagon Jr. is named after Wagon Sr.! His first name, that is. He's not technically a Junior since their middle names are different.
His middle name was chosen by his paternal grandparents. Since he's a boy he had to have a specific first syllable based on his generation.

DD's first name is the same as DH's maternal grandmother and unknown to us until we announced the selected name if a girl (we were team green), my grandmother's best friend. Her middle name is a random name DH decided upon and I liked.

My son's first name is a name I've loved for a long time. His middle names are for my grandfather and father.
My daughter's first name is from a town in Scotland that my grandfather has special memories of. Her middle names are for my mom, me and my grandmother.
