I think we are both pretty ambitious, although perhaps in different ways!
Who is more ambitious: you or your SO?

SO is, although I suppose we're ambitious in different ways. I think we balance each other out though; he can be ambitious to the point it's unrealistic, and I help him figure out a more reasonable way to achieve what he wants.

Me - but I don't really care about ambition and success career wise - I just can't help but try to be better than others (not in a mean way - just internal drive)

Hmm...I guess technically him, but I push him a lot?

Me. I definitely have more ambition when it comes to work and my career, but I do know that I rub off on DH and he is really starting to see his own worth and work towards what he wants. I think we definitely push each other!

DH is a lot more ambitious. I couldn't care less about career success - I just want to be happy.

Hmmm... I think we're both ambitious, but in different ways.
My first instinct was to say that DH is more ambitious. He's an entrepreneur after all. However, I always have some crazy project. Like last Christmas I set out to make a gingerbread house. Not just any gingerbread house, the most ridiculously complicated one I could muster. I had never even made a gingerbread house before, lol!

We are both ambitious. DH had a better personality and will likely go father than me though.

We're pretty equal. We've both made the same amount of career moves/changes in order to get ahead and asked for promotions. DH stays at work a lot later than I do, but I at least always stay later than my boss and my office really empties out a lot earlier than his does.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: How do you define a better personality?

@mrbee: DH is genuinely friendlier and something about him makes people want to talk to him and be around him. He can be a sarcastic prick, but people don't pick up on it. He is naturally funny and knows when not to say something or when he does it's always the right thing to say.

Definitely DH. I would be fine where I am forever. He always wants better and better (which is a great trait - NOT complaining!)

We're both ambitious in terms of career, but in different ways because of our very different careers. He works on the IT side in finance, so he's constantly being headhunted and has the option to move more for salary reasons.
I work in public education, so a move is almost always lateral, but I'm ambitious in that I have specific goals for my career (unpaid goals) and I'm doing what I can to get there. I want to be on the Newberry committee one day, so I'm slowly working on networking, being on other lesser committees, getting to know other people in the field, etc.

He is. Not only does he work a full time job, but he has a side business and volunteers at multiple places.
But the thing is.... I'd like to do volunteer work too but I don't feel like I have time because I have to watch LO all the time. I don't like leaving her.

I would say me. I have a lot of drive and am not a procrastinator at all.
