I make my husband do it.
If I try to kill bugs, I either swat and miss (and then run away screaming) or I feel bad about killing them.

Mr. Lime kills bugs, and I kill lizards. He tries to save the lizards though.

No one! I don't like killing things, so we usually take them outside. We don't get huge spiders or anything weird, though, so it's not a big deal.

Either of us / both of us. I have all the mercy for animals, and no mercy for bugs!!!!!

We both try not to kill bugs, definitely a cup and take them out household! We share those duties equally and I try to remind myself that spiders kill other bugs for us!
The couple of times we've had mice though... That's all DH. Mice terrify the crap out of me.

My husband! We get theatrical about it, me summoning him to the bug location and he takes care of it.

If DH is home, he does it. If not I'll do it. I am not friendly to uninvited house guests of the insect variety. I am quite allergic to mosquito and spider bites.

@Mrs. Pickle: LOL! I don't have a cat but I've heard stories about my cousin's cat that leaves "presents" for my cousin.

@Mrs. Pickle: hahaha, that's true for us too, actually - my cat takes care of a lot. She has a particular "call" she uses when she needs help from me (never does it for DH) to help her kill something. Likewise, I have a particular way of saying her name when something needs dispatching and she comes RUNNING when I use the "killing-tone-of-voice"

It's supposed o be DH when it comes to wasps and hornets, but since his job has kept him away so much the last four months, I've had to step up to the plate a few times.

I don't mind killing anything but spiders - I'm terrified of spiders, to a degree that I fully know is ridiculous. My husband gets called (usually by my shrieking) to dispose of anything with 8 legs.

My husband when he's here, the Swiffer when he's not (along with a lot of screaming)

DH! Sometimes if I find a bug I will take a picture and text it to him, asking for help! Haha, he usually comes to kill it but always jokes if I got close enough to take a picture of it I was close enough to kill it!

Definitely DH. One night he was working late and I texted him photos of the bugs in the living room trapped under glasses and went to bed. He handled them when he got home

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: lizards?
My husband, definitely. I just scream like a little girl. Also, I feel sad ending the creepy crawlers life. Didn't feel this way until I was pregnant. Weird!

DH when possible. We live in the country so all of the spiders are starting to hibernate into the house for winter Gah, we get some nasty wolf spiders out here. Luckily I haven't seen any of the those inside.

I do because no one else is around to do it for me during the day. My 2 year old likes to kill bugs and often picks them up to show me. He's a keeper.

@jlm22: the tiny ones jump on the front door and then jump in the house when open and close them. We try to coax them back out, but after two minutes of them not taking the hint I'm ready to kill them.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I live in Boston. If a lizard jumped on my front door, I would die!

Me. Hubs is terrified of all things flying and/or creeping. And our cat is useless.

I deal with spiders, wasps, bees, hornets, and snakes that terrify my giant, manly husband. He does crickets, rodents, and anything that remotely resembles a roach because eww no.

@jlm22: Hahaha I thought the same about the lizards. No lizards in RI. Just salamanders sometimes
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
Either of us. Just depends on who's closest to a napkin/shoe/mail/killing object. If I see it, but not close to one, I'll call out to DH to grab something and he'll kill it. Unless I'm home alone then that's different.
