In our house, I'm likely to be the one to eat leftovers out of the fridge. If a meal doesn't turn out that great, I'll probably eat it anyway. I'm just not that picky.
Is there a human "vacuum cleaner" for food in your household?

Dh for sure. I never get any leftovers! They're always gone by the time I go looking for them!
We also have a chihuahua who we nicknamed "The Dyson" and he takes care of anything that falls on the floor:). We don't even get a 5-second rule opportunity....The Dyson got it in 2seconds:)

Not DH! He almost never eats leftovers so it's usually me since I don't want to waste food.

These days, I eat EVERYTHING! But DH isn't picky, either. We fully take advantage of leftovers.

Me! I love savoury food and will literally pick at dinner leftovers until it's all gone. DH is all about saving leftovers to make a meal out of the next day and he tells me to stop eating... but I don't want to!!!

My husband. I can always count on him to eat my leftovers.

Me. DH is weird about "old food." Like, I could make something in the morning and he'll refuse to eat it in the afternoon because it is "old."
Don't even get me started on storing things in the freezer or freezer meals in general. In his world chicken bought last week at the store and put in the freezer immediately also counts as "old" food, and will not eat.

@MediaNaranja: dang, I grew up without a lot of money and if I only ate "new" food, then I would not have survived childhood!

@mrbee: Ugh, DH is so picky and weird about food. It's the one thing in our relationship that drives me absolutely bonkers. Like, need to go for a walk outside and cool down bonkers. I need to send him to some sort of boot camp for picky eaters.

@MediaNaranja: My DH is obsessed with "freezer burn".

If something's been in the freezer for more than a few weeks he gets all weird and wont eat it! There's usually no sign of anything being wrong with it - and even if it did have "freezer burn" it would still be safe!
