We picked it together!

we picked together before we got married, but he moved in first. I moved in after the wedding

We picked out our current condo together!

We picked our house together, but DH was responsible for helping me look past the mess it was in. I was in the middle of morning sickness when we were hunting, so I had a hard time focusing in the tours and making reasonable judgments!

We were renting in Boston and bought a house in Upstate NY. We thought we wanted to live there after 5 years vacationing there. We lived there for 8 weeks before moving back to Boston, haha. When we came back I was a mess, I was so stressed moving and sad that we didn't love NY, I let DH pick out the apartment. It's a loft-style townhouse with lots of open railings and balconies. Not great for a baby/small child. But the location is PERFECT. Ugh.

I bought my house when DH and I were just friends. He did go around with me to all the houses and help me pick, but ultimately it was my decision.

We picked our apartment and our house together.

I found it online but we both loved it in person. And honestly, it was big enough, it was an okay price (not perfect but okay), and it was in a nice neighborhood that was close to things (most importantly my doctor) so we went with it. We pretty much had to though because I was 39 weeks pregnant and we were living with my in-laws two hours away from my hospital and DH's new job.

We generally pick things together and did here too (we both agreed we just needed a place to live).

Together, technically. I was lukewarm about it...but DH was crazy in love with it, so I went along.

We picked out our apartment and house together, although he lived in our apartment with our now BIL before we got married. It definitely required deep cleaning after being a "boy" apartment!

We usually pick our places together, but the last time we moved I saw it and made an appointment to sign the lease the next day so he could see it at the last minute. It was a unique circumstance though, we needed a house ASAP and it was the ONLY decent place avail so he gave me permission to jump on it.

We bought it/picked it out together when we were engaged. BUT, I preferred this place and DH preferred a bigger place in a not as ideal location. I won ; )

DH is a lot pickier about our living space than I am, so it was mostly him who picked out our last two places. The rental we moved into together was in a building he had always wanted to live in, but definitely wouldn't have even made my list. I liked it though and was happy. When we bought our apartment a year ago, I wouldn't even go to an open house until he went to one first because he is so ridiculously picky I didn't want to waste my time! Thankfully he liked it and we actually ended up getting a pretty good deal since the owners had to sell by a certain date and there weren't a lot of buyers.
