We both just take out the trash if it's full when we see it... plus we put some extra out on the days that the trash comes. We seem to generate so much more trash now that we have 2 kids!

DH does. I hate it for some reason and never remember when trash day is.

It's a man job, but he never remembers it so I have to nag. See what he makes me do!

I take the trash from the kitchen to our dumpster and DH takes it to the curb on trash day. He usually brings it back into the garage after he gets home from work too unless they leave it in the way of my car if I go somewhere

DH takes it curb side. During the week I collect around the house and put the recycling outside.

I do. We have raccoons in the neighborhood that like to get in the trash so we put it out in the morning. I hate trash duty, but at least I know we recycle.

Really whoever notices that it is full! But DH will often offer to do it for me.

I try to make DH do it. Similar to @anonysquire: I have to nag though!!

I do...I used to get DH to do it, but now I not only take it out, but I drive it over to the dump as soon as it's out, since the dump is around the corner. My recycling goes there, too, so I bring everything I have sorted with me.

If the garbage is full, either of us do it. Garbage day, DH does the majority of it and pulls the can to the curb

We both do. He always takes the big trash can and recycling to the street on Sunday nights. Then if he is traveling I bring back to the house on Monday.

Normally I pull the bag out of the trashcan, empty the bathroom trash, replace the bags. But I leave the trash bags on the side porch so he can take it to the big garbage can before he comes inside when he gets home from work.

Man job. At least it's suppose to be on his list, but we probably do it equally.

He does, but I will take it out if it smells gross or is overflowing and he's not home.

I empty the bathroom cans on trash day and the kitchen as needed. DH empties the kitchen when needed (sometimes) and puts the large can out on the curb. I do the litterbox because the cat was mine before marriage (and DH is making me "repay" him for the 9months he had to do it while I was pregnant with DS).

DH does! He takes it to the trash cans and then he takes the trash cans to/from the road.

Wagon Sr. It is his only SOLELY him household responsibility (as in, I never do it or think about it unless he's away for some reason). He LOVES trash day now that we have 2 kids and generate so much trash and recycling. Recycling day (every 2 weeks) is like Christmas for him.

DH does it. He takes care of all outside stuff.

Mainly the hubs, or our housekeeper since she comes on trash day.

I take it out usually. We only have one bag a week, but if it's really heavy and full of cat litter, I'll have my husband do it when he's home.

That's usually DH's job! I take it out occasionally.

We will both take the trash to our outside trash cans, but DH always takes the trash cans and recycling to the curb.

DH and I rent the upstairs of my mom's house from her, but we all share a kitchen. She takes out the trash! I do it once in a while.

DH. I leave for work at 5 am, and a lot of times the coons are still out and will get into it if I do. DH takes it out around 7 am, so it's safe from destruction.

It's always DH. Unless my dad comes over and notices that it's almost full. Then he takes it out.
My dad has this thing that it's a "guys" job to take out trash, so I actually never did it growing up. It was always my brothers who took out the trash in every room. Made for a horrible habit while I was in college. I never remembered to take it out!
