I had driving classes with an instructor when I was 15.
My Dad was my teacher when I had my learner's permit! He made me cry during 3 point turns...haha!

My dad taught me twice! He taught me the first time and then my second car was a manual, so he taught me to drive manual too. He was surprisingly patient.

My dad, my mom, my brother, and my uncle. The boys were much more chill than my mom!

My mom & dad. I took the classes after they had already taught me, but before I got a license. My mom pretty much made me drive her around everywhere she went for a year, she would even make me go out if we were sent home from school because of snow storms! She'd make me turn off the four wheel drive & drive her rear wheel drive SUV in the snow! Said 'if you're going to live in new England, you're going to learn to drive in it!'

Took classes because neither of my parents could do it without either 1) making me cry or 2) grasping the dashboard until their knuckles turned white (and that was before we were actually moving).

Classes and my mom! My dad couldn't teach us because he gets motion sick if he's not the one driving, haha. Or maybe that's just the excuse he used so he didn't have to deal with the stress of teaching us, haha.

My mom and my teacher (whom I hated) My dad was grumpy and a hell of a backseat driver. Mom just let me do my thing.

My dad. They wanted me to learn on stick before learning on automatic in drivers ed.

OMG! My dad. He still talks about how terrified he was lol. I kept driving on the wrong side of the road and kept driving over the curbs. I thought driving was so overwhelming when I first started. I was like :"I have to drive, and check for other cars and use the blinker and listen to music all at the same time?"

I took driver's ed--did NOT want my parents to teach me! My mom taught my sister, but I think I'm a better driver.

My instructor & step-dad (at the time). My mom is so scared on the road that I didn't even go that route and well my dad never lends his car. EVER. So that was out of the question.
I learned to drive in a Pontiac Lumnia those oddly shaped family van (7 seats) http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&gl=ca&biw=320&bih=416&tbm=isch&sa=1&q=pontiac+lumina+van&oq=pontiac+lu&gs_l=mobile-gws-serp.1.0.0i24l5.7929.15148.0.17132.24.16.2.1.2.0.373.2388.0j8j2j2.14.0...0.0...1ac.tmNEA7-mbdk&mvs=0#i=0
