For years and years, it was Mrs. Bee! Recently it's switched and she is sleepier while I am not. Don't really understand what changed, but I figure I might as well balance the scales and wake up first for a while!

He does. His company is based on the east coast and we are on the west coast. Plus I WOH part time so I don't wake up to an alarm most days.

Me. I'm an early riser, but I do sleep earlier, too.

He does. He's the reason my child wakes up everyday at 5am. They're both early birds.

Right now, always always him. I've never been up before him that I can recall. Even when I was working early he was always up at least as early. Once the baby comes I'm sure sure it'll change at least for a bit.

During the week around the same time. I get up with DS sles and DH gets up for work. Both usually 7ish. DH loves to sleep in thoigh.

Sort of me, sort of DH. DH "doesn't" (won't?
) wake up to alarms, so I set my alarm and wake him up. He has to get up first because of his awful commute.

Usually it's DH because he has earlier office days than I do, but lately for the past month or so, I've been waking up on my own earlier. NOT fun.

I do. I have to wake up earlier for work in order to get ready in time and then on the weekends I'm usually the first one up too. Every once in a while he'll surprise me and I'll wake up on a Saturday with him one inch from my face staring at me (sounds creepy but it's actually kind of cute, haha)

Always me, unless he has to travel for work. Then he gets up at the last minute and relies on me completely to get L ready for the babysitter. Occasionally he'll let me sleep in on a Saturday but it's not that often.
Not that i'm bitter or anything...

He does. He leaves at 415am do that he can beat the traffic and leave earlier in the afternoon.

These days, we wake up together. He's a naturally early riser and I'm not--but LO wakes up early so EVERYONE wakes up early in our house.

Me, not because I want to though
I'm the lighter sleeper with control issues and the desire to plan our lives. So I get up, get me and the kids ready and he just has to worry about himself. Drives me batty some days.

DH; but right now with a newborn there really isn't "waking up" lol
GOLD / wonderful olive / 19030 posts
I get up earlier during the week, but on weekends he gets up with LO and I sleep in. He can't sleep in anymore and at this point in pregnancy I can still sleep so I'm enjoying it while I can!

Definitely me... unless his insomnia kept him up and he's still awake when I wake up.

Weekdays, I do. On the weekends, DH almost always is up before me! I love my sleep!

DH is almost always up before me! He doesn't require very much sleep (6 hours max). I'm usually in bed before him and get up after him

It's pretty much always been DH. I frequently wake in the middle of the night for no reason and take several hours to fall back asleep, so I tend to wake later. We had to work on this early on in the relationship since he used to get "bored" and wake me up. He's much better now, but he still sets the alarm for 5am to go to the gym.. ugh!

Pre-baby, dh except on weekends. Now, lo, so then I get up to nurse. Recently though she's been waking up so early that I go back to bed and wake dh to take over playing with her So I guess he's up earlier

Neither of us, we both used to sleep in. Now LO wakes us up at 7, and we take turns waking up with him!
