Who was the first to break down and buy something for the baby?
We're expecting so many hand me downs, that I'm waiting until after the shower, per my mothers insistence, before I go out and buy anything. We were agreed to wait, but...
DH is away for work and just texted me a picture of a onsie he bought today for our baby.
It's pink and says daddy's little farm girl.

I'm not having a shower though and probably won't get many hand-me-downs (I'm the first in my family to get pregnant) so I have to slowly stock up on supplies to prevent having a minor heart attack from all the money we have to spend.

DH was first. He went on a business trip and came home with presents for the baby. I waited until after my shower to buy anything.

I was first, by a long shot. DH is still weird about buying baby stuff because it won't be here for more than 4 months. He doesn't see the point of getting started.

I predict that it will be me. My husband has to drag me away from the baby section at stores already. I think I will be the person who goes out and buys something the minute I get a bfp.

I was because I bought a shirt to tell him with, and a onesie to tell my mom with. Together we bought a few more things but after he knew, I was also the one to buy the items we told his parents with.

we made our first purchase together online. it was fora nursery set of crib/dresser/ and changing table. We are resisting buying clothes until closer to the birth.

Me. And I'm not even pregnant yet! One of my husband's cousins was selling her used Bob Stroller. I knew I would need one so I can keep running after baby and I'd rather buy it from her at half the price than buy a new one!

We're just TTC and DH was talking about checking out Black Friday deals at baby stores for co-sleepers and other big ticket items. I laughed at his cuteness and told him that we might want to get pregnant and have our shower first before we start shopping for the $$ items.

Neither one of us has bought anything for the baby yet. We will be moving on to our 2nd tri at the end of the week so hopefully after that we won't feel like we're going to jinx it.

I bought a onesie that says "Daddy's Fishing Buddy" - I gave it to DH after our really awesome 10 week ultrasound. Otherwise, I haven't bought anything yet. A friend gave us an adorable blanket though.

My DH gave me a baby gear Christmas gift - a hiking pack for the baby! It's our first item of "gear!" I love it!

Actually both my mother in laws! A tshirt from one, and a gorgeous soft blanket from the other! I have bought one unisex onesie, and got a free pack of diapers with a CVS coupon but once we know the gender the fun will really begin!!
