Who did you go to your HS prom with?
Flashback to 1998! I went with one of my gay best friends... my boyfriend at the time couldn't make it. We went to different schools - he went to a boarding school - and the Friday of my Prom was his Graduation day or something like that. I was bummed, but managed to have fun with my friends!

My ex's friend. My ex didn't want to go so he had someone take his place. Hahaha. It was awkward, but I actually had a ton of fun. My ex and I were hitting our rough spot around that time so I think it was for the best.

Jr. Prom was with my H.S. BF who was older (and oh so cool.. hahaha) Senior Prom was with a BF who I ended up dating through college! Not together anymore, but that was a fun night!

Sophomore year I went with a friend who I had a massive crush on. He ditched me the second we got to the dance and it sucked. Junior year I went with a friend who had a huge crush on me, and it also sucked because I felt so guilty--I wanted so badly to have romantic feelings for him because he was such a great guy and friend. I didn't go senior year--I had recently been dumped and I was heartbroken and depressed. I remember laying in bed on prom night bawling. I wish I could go back in time and get myself to snap out of it! I should have gone with a friend or something. It could have been really fun.

I went with someone from the class below me.
DH and I went to high school together but never talked to each other. The first time we did was at prom. I yelled at him and slammed the door in his face.

We had a Jr/St Prom, and my HS sweetheart was a year ahead of me, so my Sophomore and Junior years I went with him. We split up the summer before he left for college/I started my Senior year.
Senior year I went stag. I had just broken up with my BF like a week or two before. I already had the dress! And I had a blast!
