Well, most of the times neither (see my post about pants).
All kidding aside, I tend to have a fairly dominant personality, and Hubs is very accomodating, but I do try to let him take the lead as much as possible. I am a classic oldest sibling, while he has the follower characteristics of a younger sib. We try to establish a balance though.

I'd say it's pretty even.
We each have our "areas" though, that we kind of handle--I usually get the final say on cleaning/laundry/house-y stuff (I've dubbed myself the official "house manager," he hates it...haaahahaha), he's fabulous with fixing/handy/social/date/travel plans, etc.

DH makes the final decision when it comes to family matters, but my opinion carries a lot of weight and he can't stand when I'm unhappy or upset so..

I make a lot of the day to day decisions, but he's the taskmaster on big things. Mostly because he's more responsible with money so he reins in my crazy ideas often.

We have different strengths... so he organizes most of our social stuff while I do most of the research on things like finance and purchases. Thank god for him or I'd have no social life. I would just work more than I already do!

When it comes to family matters, usually I wear the pants. When it comes to financial matters, he definitely wears the pants.

Definitely me. I am just way more high strung and I need things to be just so. My husband, on the other hand, is extremely relaxed.

Me. In my mind I am always asking his opinion, although I guess discussions always end with my list of facts.

We're pretty even. We each have different areas that we're in charge of, and we're both "oldests" so that way it doesn't get too lopsided.

Pretty even I think - although like chopsuey, my feelings and opinions carry a lot of weight and if I contest something enough (read: whine) he gives in to me to make me happy

When it comes to finances, my husband makes final decisions. Everything else, I pretty much decide.

I wear the pants all of the time. I'm a planner/researcher so by the time I talk to him about something I've figured out the best course of action and he usually goes along with what I've decided. When he wears the pants things go pearshaped.

It's actually a running joke between me and my DH. He insists that he wears the pants in our relationship and I tell him he wears capris (as in, not real, full-length pants)!

It's pretty even when it comes to finances and everyday stuff, but I have the final say when it comes to LO.

We're pretty even since we have different strengths. I'm usually the brains of an operation and the hubby helps implement it.

I wouldn't necessarily say I wear the pants....but I almost always get my way!

We are pretty even but he sometimes gets mad because I can be really stubborn and he eventually gives up and always gives in to me and will say that he wants to wear the pants but he always lets me!
