We are!! We have been packing 2 hours each night after the kids go to bed, from about 8-10pm, and today our friends came over to watch the kids while we packed up their rooms and the upstairs hall and bathrooms. We've been packing since 9:30am and I am SO BEAT. We are going to put the kids to bed, order Chinese, have a beer (cider for me) and watch TV!!

We are, too! It's not a huge move-- just across town-- but I am so ready for it to be done! We move a week from today. When are you moving?

We closed on our house yesterday, but we're not actually moving in for several weeks. But, we brought over some stuff today and vacuumed and cleaned and did a few things and I'm beat, too!
I wanted to do so much more over there, but I'm just over all miserable these days, lol.

@mrsrain: we're moving to the next town over, so just 15 mins away! So not a big move for us either.. But we've been here for almost 6 years and went from just me and my husband and our two dogs to 2 kids, so we have sooooo much stuff. We're moving next Saturday, too! Closing on Friday!
@Running Elley: yes, we packed up the kids rooms today and we're not even touching their toys until the night before..!! I'm most nervous about the kitchen!!
@Dandelion: I wish we could do things gradually like you are! But the truck is coming on Saturday.. They will pack whatever we don't have done yet, which gives me peace of mind, but it adds hours and we're paying by the hour so we're trying to get everything done on our own!

I hear you!! We arent moving yet but we have to get rid of a ton of stuff/move extra furniture and non essentials into storage before we put our house on the market. I have become obsessed with everything being PERFECT for the pictures that will go with our listing. My husband wants to kill me and I kind of don't blame him, lol. I am dreading having to actually pack up and move, even though we will likely only be moving 15 or 20 minutes away as well!
Good luck! Sounds like you guys have paced yourselves and are making great progress! Put up your feet and RELAX tonight!

@petunia354: thank you! We did that six years ago and got GORGEOUS pictures of our condo. I folded laundry super quickly and now I definitely have my feet up! We just finished our Chinese food and WS is going out to pick up fro yo... Yay
