mr. bee is way, way smarter than me. no competition.

Hands down me. Husband isn't the classroom type and definitely not the studying/book type. He made me read our premartial counseling book out loud to him.

If we're talking about street smarts/technical smarts then he would win. He can fix anything!

My husband is the smartest person I know. He's a sexy intellectual type.

Technically, I did a little better in school, but DH and I have completely opposite academic strengths and thought processes. I would say it would be really close, but I have a slight edge just because I have a couple more academic strengths.

I would do better grade-wise but when it comes to standardized test like the SATs, DH has a better score than me. I didn't do that well in the reading section. I saw his college transcripts and I was pretty shocked. He's a smart guy but regular school settings wasn't really good for him. Even though, I graduated from college with a science degree and he graduated from an art school, he probably has an higher IQ than me.

I'd say we're even - he's very disciplined and has an excellent work ethic; I'm a procrastinator and a bit of a slacker but still tend to do very well with minimal effort.

Hubs also has a brilliant math and science brain (hence being an engineer), whilst my strong points tend to be more along the lines of language arts and social sciences.

I have a plethora of completely useless knowledge (seriously, knowing every capital in the world? Is that really necessary?) whilst DH's knowledge of all things science and history related is amazing. We are a formidable trivia team....except that we both stink at pop culture knowledge!

We complement each other very well I think - both complete nerds but we love it!

If we were to go back together I'd get better grades. I always liked being a student and did really well in a classroom setting. He is more of a hands on learner.

He is. It probably helps that he actually tried in school, too.

I don't know. DH is very smart and very good at what he does, but I can hold my own too. I would say we're fairly level with smarts, although if it came to a classroom type environment I might do better. He's more hands on and practical than I am. It's nice though, because our strengths really compliment each other.

I think it depends. We were both accounting majors, I had a better GPA, but I also studied a lot more and partied a lot less than he did. I think DH is definitely more knowledgeable on history, english and geography than me but I'm better at accounting and math.

I would probably get better grades, because I graduated with a 3.9 from a baby Ivy League University. However, I don't think grades are as much of a reflection of how smart you are as how hard you work. I actually think DH is smarter because he grasps things much easier than I do and doesn't have to work as hard!

We'd be very equal. We're both smart, thoughtful people. But neither of us put the least bit of effort into college! Our GPAs were almost exactly the same.

I would have to say me, however any class that is number/statistics related DH would do better!
