26 months and still RF! She's a peanut at 24lbs and generally happy to be RF. Hoping we can make it another year or two!

They're both still rear facing at 3 (40 months, ha) and 17 months. We purposely bought seats that would accommodate our cars and their sizes for ERF, and they both seem perfectly happy as they are.

My son is 2 years 10 months and is still RF. I have no plans to FF him.

My daughter is under 1, so definitely still RF

Rear facing at 3.5 years. Although the odd time I'll have to use the car over our van he will have to forward face as he outgrew the RF height limit for the seat in our car. Although now that I'm on mat leave for a year, I have no reason to use the car with the kids unless the van breaks down. Only when I was working and in our old daycare, DH and I had to alternate pick up and drop off with different vehicles.

DS2 -2 months and rear facing

RF at 13 mo and 20 lbs. No plans to turn her around anytime soon. She seems to dig it.

35 months and still RFing! We don't own a car, so we only go in one infrequently. They don't seem to mind it so I will not turn until more like 3.5 years old.

We switched both to ff a little before their second birthdays. With my oldest I couldn't safely get him into the car rf since I was very pregnant. With my second it was just the right time for all of us.

My 3.5 year old is still happily RF, but she's pretty tall so I should actually measure her to make sure she hasn't hit the height limit. I am hoping to make it to 4.

My 4 month old is obviously still RF.

With my first we turned her just before age 2 because she was having screaming issues in the car and it wasn't safe for us to drive.

DS may also need to turn at 2 when the new baby comes so we can do three seats across

With DD1 we rear-faced her until she was almost 3.5 and I had to stand my ground since my husband wanted her faced forward sooner. He understood my safety concerns but was concerned because DD1 has long legs and he thought it would be worst in a crash where she could break her legs. I had to remind him broken legs better than neck injuries and he understood that too.

DD2 is currently 21 months and we just had her switched out of her infant seat into a rear-facing convertible. I plan to keep her rear facing for as long as DD1 was, if not longer (she has shorter legs so DH should be less worried about the scrunch factor).
