The customer service manager at my company is on vacation so I am helping out this week. One of his reps escalated a call to me from a client who wanted to cancel an order she placed last week because she decided she can't afford the product. (The terms and conditions were very clear....no refunds or exchanges) The order was processed and I did check with our supplier to see if they would honor an exception and cancel it but the answer was no.

This lady was irate and told me she would write a complaint letter. She asked for my name (my last name is Asian) and I gave it to her....she accused me of f-in lying and told me to shut the F up and quit lying because you sound white...you don't sound like you are from f-in Asia.

OMG. I wanted to hang up on her so bad.
