I had a scheduled induction for 40w3d because the longest my OB would let me go was 41 wks and it was Thanksgiving week. I went into natural labor at 40w2d!

Induced at 39 w 4 d bc my baby was huge ! 9lb 2 oz and my doc couldn't believe I didn't have to have a section !

My OB would not let me go past 41 weeks so my induction was scheduled for a week after my EDD.

high blood pressure, proteins in urine, low platelets and DS wasn't doing what he should be in one of our weekly BPP ultrasounds

I wasn't induced, but ended up scheduling a c section at 41w3days. My baby was measuring big and my cervix was doing NOTHING. NO effacement. No dilation. Nada. And baby was sitting super high. My doctor gave me the option and I did research and made my decision.

I was induced at 40w 4d because my blood pressure kept getting higher than normal.

Pre-eclampsia or whatever comes immediately before that. I was 5 days overdue, and there was no point in waiting any longer when my health was deteriorating the way it was.

scheduled induction at 39 weeks (my OB's policy for gestational diabetes). I had no problems with that since I was almost 3cm dilated for WEEKS before and I was sooooo uncomfortable.

Postmaturity concerns at 39w2d. DD def showed signs, DS did not and he was Baby A, so it was the right call.
