I'm so sick of stuff like that. Sure, when I nannied/worked in a daycare, I rolled my eyes at overly anal first time moms. But why do women/parents judge FTMs so harshly? I don't think I'm spending my pregnancy going, "la, la, la, it's all going to be so easy!!! rainbows! butterflies! the kid will do everything I want! it will sleep through the night day one! it will never poop!" and yet somehow, it seems like people love to scare you.

Why can't we admit starting off parenthood is scary enough and there is no need to intimidate FTMs and make them feel inadequate???
