Why do people take pics of their feet at the beach? Why not just the sunset? Or the shore line? Some people have weird looking feet.

I think it's more to get a picture of the sand? The sand by itself wouldn't really look like much, but by adding feet there's a bit more perspective.

To show off their pedicures and make your jealous that their toes are pedicured and those same toes are in the sand while yours are not. lol

I really have no idea. Maybe because you take pictures of things that make you happy. I know being barefoot in the sand on a sunny day with a nice pedicure makes me happy!

I took one of my bump with my feet in the sand. It was the twins first beach trip. My toes are never painted and it was a perfect opportunity. It was the perfect day, too. It was warm and not hot and humid.

I used to love doing this before it became a thing. For me, it was remembering the feeling of being there at that very moment. I did it when I traveled alone. One of my faves was overlooking a gorgeous balcony beside a mountain in Hawaii. There was a small patio set and I had my feet up while sipping coffee. It was glorious! This was back in 2005 and I wore socks - the opposite of fancy

I don't see photos of feet in the sand often but meh, I don't think I would mind haha. But now I want to feel warm sand on my feet!! I'm freezing

I've done this since high school but I've never posted a pic on social media. I like to touch as many large bodies of water as possible. Taking a pic of my feet on the shore reminds me of my travels.
