LO 1 says she is a big girl because she is potty trained, attends preschool and eats ice cream.

Hm my LO doesn't talk much yet but WE called him a big boy yesterday because we have him an IKEA flat pillow for his crib in hopes he will like his crib better. He's 17.5 months.

My LOs teacher called her a big girl this morning because she let me leave with her stuffed animal she had been clutching. All morning she would not let it go. I let her take it in the car and even into daycare because I was running late and did not have time for a tantrum. Once she got to daycare though, I explained that bear had to go with mommy and that it was time to say goodbye. She thought for a second and then kissed bear goodbye and told me goodbye, so her teacher told her she was a big girl.

D is because he's in second grade and "there's not as much recess". Poor kid.

@78h2o: She is kinda braggy about that stuff to her little sister who doesn't care at all! LOL. "I go to preschool!" over and over and over!

We have been stressing that LO is a big girl as a part of weaning her off the binky and talking about her becoming a big sister. She seems to really like it!

Bc she can eat big girl snacks with her teeth.
