I'm 10 weeks pp and my doctor put me on the mini pill for birth control. I haven't gotten my period yet, but was wondering if taking the pill will make it come? If so I don't want to take it! It's been so nice not dealing with it for the past year!

I've been on the mini pill for 3.5 months. I'm 5 months post partum, EBFing, and still haven't had a period yet.

@MegWag: if you don't mind me asking, have you found that your milk supply has been effected at all since starting it?

I haven't noticed any change, but then I haven't had any supply issues in general. I never really monitored it or stressed about it. I actually have an appointment to have a Mirena put in later this month. I'm usually pretty good about taking my pill at the right time (I have an alarm on my phone for the start of the window and the end of it), but I convinced myself that I was pregnant last month (phantom kicks) and figured it was more foolproof.
