I'd pull one color from the rug and do a solid silk curtain, maybe a silk with a slightly nubby texture. For pattern mixing, I'd do patterned pillows, the curtains seem like they would compete with the rug.

I like it! But then again I'm famous for mixing patterns.

I love pattern mixing, but instead of two larger florals, I would do a geometric print or a smaller, more subtle floral-- and with at least 3 of the colors of the curtain matching the rug--like real, red, and light green.

I think the patterns don't work super well just because they are the same type of pattern. But if one was something else like a polka for, stripe, etc. maybe it would work better. Btw I super love your wall color, a good grey is hard to find!
