I will most likely not! Wagon Sr. definitely will be... he got so many grants and scholarships. Poor guy married into a lot of debt.
And I didn't even go to grad school...!! Just a really expensive private college. Hindsight is 20/20... I shoulda gone where I got scholarships!!

Yes, we will both be done within 18 years. 
I paid for most of grad school and my post grad classes out of pocket so there's no debt from those classes.

Doubt it! We can't ramp up our payments on the loan until she is out of daycare at like 5, which gives us oh, 12ish years to pay it off? So....maybe? If I'm lucky! Lol!

Yes. We hope to have them paid off before we have a LO.
I also did a super expensive private college for undergrad, but I guess the benefit of marrying late is being able to slowly work those down before starting a family.
They're in deferment right now since I'm in grad school (thankfully that's paid for by work), but we're hoping in the next year or two we'll be able to get rid of them.
I was insanely happy two years ago when I got them down to 4 figures!

Luckily no debt for me here! DH and I both paid out of pocket to slowly earn our degrees. I didn't finish mine but DH got his!

I definitely have at least 10 years left. I owe a ton. DH doesnt owe as much and we're going to start doubling his payments soon. Thank goodness we both paid for grad school out of pocket.

Nope. My plan would put me finishing off payments once my daughter is a sophomore.
Which is why whenever I can I try to pay more than amount required because it hits the principal. Even $50 makes a difference. I'd like to finish before she goes to school. Or win the lottery.
DH has no debt, lucky bastard.

Mine are paid off. My husband has a relatively small balance that we could pay off now but the interest rate is so low we so no reason to!

Dh will. I still owe maybe £15k and am not going to be paying anything off until I go back to work, which might not be for 5+ years. Though Dh was telling me it gets written off after a certain period of time, so maybe if I hold out, I won't have to pay it!

Probably not. My law school loans (which were consolidated with what I had left from undergrad) are on a 30 year repayment with a SUPER low rate. I'm in no rush. I pay what I'm supposed to every month, with maybe a bit extra. I'd probably make more investing the extra, but I like watching the debt go down.

Dh got a free ride and paid for his masters degrees with cash while working.
I had a crap load of student loans (college, masters, lawschool), but they're paid off now.

We should be. We took out 13k for living expenses while DH was law school. Both our parents paid for our undergrad (though we didn't go to expensive schools), DH's parents paid for his law school tuition (at a very affordable state school). My parents gave me some cash when I finished school (my sister asked for a car and I asked for the cash equivalent. Best decision!) and we lived off of that. I paid cash for my grad school tuition - working and through grants.
I know I had help,, but I'm pretty proud I finished grad school in two years with a joint degree and paying cash upfront for my tuition.
I think DH has a 20 year loan but if think we will start funneling some extra money to that to get it paid off once we pay off births and drop daycare costs.

Maybe. As a first generation college grad in my family, my school debt was always something that I knew I would pay for on my own. It was a big accomplishment to be the first one to go to college but sometimes you take some big jumps to succeed. Luckily, my college education has propelled me into my career and I don't regret education I got.

The last of the student loans will be completely paid off when LO enters Kindergarten (some are already paid off, and some will be paid off before then). We’ve been out of school since 2006 though; and my husband since loooooooooooooooong before then!

Fortunately, school is inexpensive in Canada. I only went to CEGEP and for very cheap ($150 a semester + books). My DH paid for his schooling completely upfront (around 10k + books I believe).

Ours are all paid off. I didn't have any from undergrad and just a small amount from grad school DH had a lot (for Canada, anyway) from undergrad and law school. He wants to get his LLM and I'm thinking of doing a second master's degree...our employers would pay for them though.

lol barely. I figured out a few weeks ago we will have less than 12 months between paying off our loans and our LO starting college if we pay at our current rate. I'm hoping we'll get them paid off early of course… but if not… its a bit sad and comical at the same time.
