I think we got the girls something small the past few years, maybe a small animal or book? I'm not exactly sure, I can't remember! We will probably do something similar this year, just for the fun of it.

DD is too young to understand at this point but I don't see myself doing anything in the future. But then again, I find Valentine's Day to be a silly holiday in general.

In the past few years, no. Nothing besides the gift I'm already making for daycare. I'm hoping I can convince DH to "give" her something. I think that would be sweet but he hates V day!

My family never did anything like that growing up, so I never considered it. I thinking dad got each of us (all daughters) a rose once, which was sweet, but we never got gifts. I think we might do something special for breakfast, but skip gifts (except between DH and I).

Yeah, I'll probably look for a new Valentine's Day book for my LOs. We have a Pete the cat book, Mouse and Peanuts book from past vdays.

Yeah I get her a few little treats. I think last year I did some heart hair clips, candy and a book. Just a few little valentine's themed things.

DH gets our daughter a rose every Valentine's Day, but we don't get anything for our son yet. Maybe I'll get him a rose next year.

I always get her a card. Maybe some stickers or a new coloring book - I don't want to get anything that adds up to more clutter

I got her a small red jewelry box from the $1/$3 spot at Target. She got a few necklaces for Christmas and now has somewhere to put them. She loves to take things in and out of boxes too.
I'm thinking of painting her name on there before I give it to her.

Last year I got him a book instead of a card. And we took him to DD for a munchkin! I will get him something small.

Yes, my dad always did it for us so I think it's nice to do something small. He got a book last year.

I haven't before but am thinking about buying the Love, Splat book for lo1 and a fisher price snugapuppy soother for lo2.
When I was growing up, we did secret valentines in my small 4-person family. It was a lot of fun!

I don't think I want yet another gift giving holiday. LO is too young to understand now - we'll see how we feel in the future.
