I would discourage it, especially since we don't watch it anyway. And when they're super young I think it could lead to confusion about why it's okay for people on tv to hit but it's not okay at home!

ditto what everyone else is saying-- we don't watch it, so I can't see how they would want to. Boxing, maybe during the olympics if it is on or something.
But DH definitely wants them to do some kind of martial art. He took classes even in college and really likes it and feels like he has better spatial awareness and is better at a lot of other sports because of it. I just die from cuteness.

to answer the question, most likely not. but mainly because we don't really watch tv in general. and any of those shows would be low on the list of priority. though we might watch a headlining boxing match once a year. i doubt we would watch ufc though. it's gotten too violent since the royce gracie and ken shamrock days.

however, as a kid (pretty young), we used to always watch wwf all the time. and it was usually at my grandma's house. it was one of the few shows that she, my mom and my uncle would watch as a family, because you didn't really need to understand english to enjoy the action. it was just entertainment, as it was obviously fake. i don't know what professional wrestling looks like nowadays though.
