@lovebird: the mets invited some bloggers out to promote some family friendly initiatives they're taking so we're gonna get a behind the scenes tour, get to go out on the field, etc. so alas not open to the general public.

For sure! My husbands a huge Vikings, LA dodgers, jazz, lakers and BYU fan.
How young is too young to go to a game?

@anonysquire: charlie and olive are both pretty young -- 1 1/2 and 3, but olive will nap through half of it (hopefully!), and I think Charlie will have fun. Maybe 4+ is a better age though.
We bought him a couple of books about baseball to get him excited!

@Mrs. Bee: gotcha, I knew going on the field had to be part of a special event, but thought you guys were going to do it at some point during the game against the Marlins so the fans could see the festivities. Btw, dija know cirque du solEil is also at citifield right now?

I'm sure DH will be dragging the kiddos to a University of Washington football game or two!

DH coaches university hockey, LO went to her first game at 2w old! Season ended just before 4m, and near the end she was following the play, it was so cool. She loved it!
So long as they don't conflict w/ bedtime, going to home games will be a norm in the Fall/Winter. Other pro sports Toronto has we will be all over taking her, next up, Blue Jays!
