Do you anticipate that your SO will get you something for Valentine's Day? If you feel like it, explain in the comments what you usually do for one another.
My husband's love language is definitely not gifts, so I'm not expecting anything. Sometimes it sucks because I don't even get a card 99% of the time, but it's just who he is.

Valentines isn't a holiday we really do, so normally I would say no, but he's been dropping hints that he might this year. I don't want to get my hopes up (gifts are big time my love language) in case he doesn't, but I'm secretly hoping!

He will because I told him I wanted him to - Valentine's Day isn't something we usually do but over the weekend I demanded he bring me home "something delicious to eat" as a gift.

We usually do something small. This year I bought him a Yeti travel coffee mug. He bought me one for Christmas and it's amazing so I thought he would like it.

If our sitter was in town dinner out together would be fun but we're not big on gifts. He is taking our oldest in a surprise lunch date tomorrow though when he picks her up from preschool.

No, we have agreed no gifts for Valentine's Day, including cards. We get a small gift for DD, make mini heart shaped pizzas, and make a fun dessert. That's a perfect day for me!

I completely forgot it was even coming up. I told DH early in our relationship that I didn't care about celebrating Valentine's Day and since then we never do! I bet he doesn't even know it's tomorrow.

Nope, he might get me a card, but we don't do gifts for valentines. We're going out to dinner on Friday, with our toddler. He likes to give gifts, but prefers to give them out of the blue instead of on a holiday.

We don't celebrate valentine's day. I used to cook a special fancy dinner. But since having my son that hasn't happened. I might cook a nicer dinner later on this week!

He almost always runs to the store and grabs me flowers. We cook for each other on Valentine's Day, and I usually make him a photo calendar. It's when his is up, so it's been tradition for as long as I can remember!

DH usually gets me an Edible Arrangement. I don't usually do anything, but he told me it would be nice if I did something for him this year. So I'm having a balloon arrangement and teddy bear sent to his office.

Valentine's is one of my favorite holidays so we usually do something for each other. This year I got him his favorite candies and this attachment for his table saw that he's been talking about for a while. He usually gets me some fancy chocolate and flowers.

he usually sends me flowers. this year we are in the midst of some very expensive stuff (house purchase) so i said i don't need anything...but it's also been an insanely stressful few weeks so we will see. i will be fine with whatever.

I got him a card It's sort of a crapshoot on his end. Some years it is flowers, some years a box of chocolate, and one year some jewelry. And I'm sure plenty of years where it was simply a card. We typically try to go to dinner around the holiday but I'm not sure that we can find a sitter this year!

We ordered sushi over the weekend and had a nice dinner at home. Well as nice as you can while holding a 5 week old while eating. He is gone all week. I put cards in his suitcase and he told me he will tell me tomorrow where mine is. I usually get flowers if he is home.

On Saturday, he and LO brought me heart shaped Krispy Kreme in bed. I hope that is the extent of our Vday celebration. DH is OOT and I have no patience or desire to deal with his usual flower delivery.

He usually gets me a card, and candy. I never know what to get him because I know he likes getting stuff, but he doesn't eat candy. This year I got him a scorpion pepper plant because he likes trying new hot peppers. I'm excited I finally had a good idea!

We don't give each other gifts for Christmas, even, these days, so certainly don't expect it for Valentine's day. I've told him before to NOT buy flowers for Valentine's day, because I think it's a racket. Lol. He did recently buy me some nice pj's, though, & I got him a nice shirt, so we just give random gifts.

Nope. All I want is something small and a card. Once he got me a massage and chocolates and it was the BEST. Apparently that idea has left his mind because now I get nothing... last year he went outside and found me a stick and thought it was hilarious... which it kind of was, but seriously! Lol
I got him a box of chocolate from me and the kids.

Yes, DH is pretty big on gift giving. He usually gets me flowers, a card, and something else. I got him a man crate, beard oil, and a card. We are going out for dinner to special menu Valentine's Day dinner.

I told DH he doesn't need to do anything for me but he's planning on getting me daffodils from Trader Joe's and baking chocolate chip cookies. If he decides he's not up for baking, he'll probably get us some chocolate covered strawberries.

I am somehow a UPS member and they send me notifications when I am expecting a package and such. I already got a notification today that I shall be expecting a "package" from a flower shop tomorrow. Ha. So unromantic. I am not complaining but still. It is just hilarious.
Then I am mad. We talked about me going to have lunch with him tomorrow. I just asked him if I am still going and he was all confused (the expression of, lunch? What lunch?). Then he checked his calendar and said, ok, yes you can come. Grrr. Now I am not sure if I still want to go.

He ordered me initial necklaces for A and B which I have wanted forever! Unfortunately they aren't going to arrive in time, which is why he told me what he ordered. I'm still super excited to get them! He usually gets flowers and chocolate too, although I told him not to worry about flowers. I really just liked getting flowers delivered to my office when I was working to brighten things up.
All my husband wants for Valentine's Day is our garage door fixed (it's been sticking and doesn't go up well when it's really cold), so I made an appointment for a repairman to come take a look tomorrow. He's wanted this done for weeks so I'm excited that I can scratch it off our to do list and call it a romantic Valentine's Day gift. Ha!

I've been with dh nearly 17 years now (married for 9). Gifting is my love language. It is NOT his. But I am stubborn when it comes to myself. I don't like to tell him what I want (why can't he just read my mind, duh!?!)
Anyway. I informed him that he dropped the ball at christmas. For Valentine's Day, for the first time, I told him what I wanted. I just need to remember that I am fully capable of mitigating some of the conflict in our relationship. So hopefully tomorrow everyone is happy.

Sort of yes- our tradition is that DH gets me and DD a big box of fancy chocolate covered strawberries... He did this for the first time last year and DD told me a couple weeks ago that "Daddy ALLLLLLLWAYS gets us girls chocolate strawberries for "Balemtime's" Day" lol. Now we have to do it every year lol.
I'm making him a big ol fancy dinner (he picked the menu) and doing all the dishes after. I usually get him bourbon but he point blank refused a gift this year since we are going on a Disney trip in 3 weeks.
