Any parenting wins latley?!
Yesterday DH had DD in her room changing her I had DS in his changing him
Their rooms are across a small hall from one another
I need wipes and DH tossed them into his room and I caught them
Then DH wanted some diaper cream so I tossed that to him
I don't know in the moment it was like yeah we got this! .....lol

Last night my 2.5 year old daughter smiled up at me and said, "thank you for cooking dinner, mama!" That was definitely a win after a long and difficult day of parenting.

I got my sick three-year-old to nap. She hasn't napped at home in a few months.

This morning I woke up and found my kid in my bed. I got up, kissed her on the head and went to leave. She grabbed me, pulled me down next to her and hugged me as she said, "I love you mommy, let's snuggle a while." OMG. Sweetness.

I let my kids sleep in an extra 10min this morning (mostly so I could finish my coffee in peace, but also so they could get a couple extra minutes of rest), and still managed to get them out the door on time! It may have involved a quicker-than-normal breakfast and the promise of a snack in the car on the way, but hey -- I'll take what I can get!

DD has been losing her s*!t at daycare drop-off this week, so today I put a few Annie's cheddar bunnies in my pocket and they distracted her enough for a tear-free handoff. She was getting so good at daycare, this resurgence of separation anxiety is no fun!
