EVERY SINGLE DAY!

And it was on the news recently that two $1 million dollar tickets were sold within walking distance of my apartment. I walked by one of the stores recently and gazed at the door imagining myself being the one that bought one of the tickets.

Sigh. I need a new fantasy.

omg all the time! And I never play either hahah! My odds are nil. But I fantasize too - for sure! I would definitely pay off all our debt, all of our families' debt and then fulfill my family's dream of buying a huge farm in TN and living communally, and traveling together!

One thing I can't decide is if I'd still want to continue nursing school or if I would quit... I really am not sure! I want this career so badly, but would I still want it if we were 100% financially set for life?

Yup. DH and I joke about it. Lucky we don't play, we can't agree how we'd spend millions!

Yeah absolutely although, like you, I never buy a ticket!!

Only last night, I was telling DH about the charity I would set up with the money. He was trying to convince me that I could do it without a lottery win if I ran it like a business - but I don't want to do that! I want to just throw money at it!!!

I never play the lottery either, but I do fantasize about winning a large sum of money. If we won 50k, it'd put us ahead more than 10 years! I can't even fathom suddenly getting more than that!

My DH likes to get scratcher tickets every now and then, and he always chooses the ones with the reasonable payoffs...he's always saying "I only need this much...." basically enough to pay off our house and our student loans. Haha! Is it super lame that that's the kind of stuff we're fantasizing about?

Haha sometimes.... I just like to think how a lot of our problems will be solved if we can just win the lottery. We don't even play though! And obviously we know money isn't everything but it's fun to dream!

Yep, I totally do - and like you, I never play the lottery! Haha. The first thing we would do is sign up for the Disney Vacation Club, because I'm a nerd and guaranteeing my family an annual vacation to one of their nicest resorts sounds amazing! Then we'd upgrade our house, nothing crazy expensive but something a bit bigger/nicer. I'd probably pay off our parent's house too and send our ILs on a nice vacay since they have plenty of money but I'd like to do something for them.

After that is where it gets tough. Many members of my extended family are in tough financial situations that I would theoretically like to help with, but they are in those situations because they have continued to make stupid and irresponsible decisions for basically their whole lives. So that's tricky...but I doubt I'll ever actually win the lottery and have to worry about it
