I am just sitting at work working and just got this overwhelming feeling/thought about how much I miss R. Like I want to cry cause I am working and not with my sweet girl.
Does this happen to anyone else?

Yes!! It actually doesn't happen to me very often because I really love my job, but every so often, I'm suddenly overwhelmed with how much I miss Xander and just want to snuggle him!!!!
I hope the rest of your days goes by quickly so you can be reunited with R that much sooner!!!

Yes - here and there. I used to get it about DH, too! I even skipped work one day years ago just because I had such an overwhelming feeling that I needed to be with him that day.

My working days aren't so difficult...where I struggle is on mornings like today, where I have a morning appointment and I keep my son home a little later. Makes me want to skip the entire day and spend it with him.

@Smurfette: I feel you there too . . . I do (sort of) like what I do, it's just that it all seems so much less important to me than it did before.

All the time. And if I start thinking about the fun she's having at school with the day care ladies instead of me, I get even more upset. I should be happy she's having fun at all.

I totally have moments like this! And then i go home and huggle on her real tight, and all is right in the world
I notice it mostly when I have a down day/moment. She just brings a smile to my face.

@MsLipGloss: That feeling has happened to my law school friends who had babies.

@MsLipGloss: Yeah I have zero motivation for work. I watch the clock every day till I go to pick her up. That smile when she sees me, makes my whole day.

Every. Single. Day.
One of our nurses had her baby up here to visit yesterday and I cried the whole time I pumped bc I missed my babe. Lately he's been taking a nap at the time I get home and I go lie down next to his cosleeper til he wakes up.

Yes. I've been back to work for 9 months and get those feelings a few times a week. I supervise the area where parents drop their kids off for school & feel all mushy the whole time. The worst is when parents drop off with their little ones in strollers. I just want to get in my car, speed to his daycare & give him a hug.
