We can't get out of the house on time so I just had to change my hours. I leave at 7:20 to drop LO off and now I won't be picking him up until 5:30/5:45.
What time do you leave in the morning and get home at night?

Depends on the shift. This week I've been leaving at 11 am and getting home at 11 pm. On highly busy regular weeks it's 6:45 am to 6 pm, and on regular research weeks it's more like 8:45 am to 5 pm.

If I have to take LO to daycare in the am (my husband usually does drop off) I need to leave the house by 7:45. If I’m just going into work, I need to leave by 8:05 at the latest.
I get home between 5:45-6pm whether I pick LO up or not.

I only work at the office 2 days a week...I leave at 4:45 to start at 6am. I leave at 3pm and I get home at 5 or 5:30. Traffic sucks.

We usually leave the house at 7, and I don't get home until 6:30 each night. I do drop off in the morning and my DH does pickup after work since he gets out a lot earlier than I do. He also only has a 20 minute commute compared to my hour and 15 minutes.

Its nice to know there are other mamas putting in the same kinds of hours! I had a meltdown this morning about losing 45 minutes with him at night now!

We leave the house at 6:45 and if I pick her up I get her at 5 and we are home by 5:15. Usually DH gets her earlier though.

6:50: leave the house
7:20: drop LO off at daycare
7:30: at work
4:30: leave work and pick up LO from daycare
5:00: home
I really like our schedule/commute for the most part, our office does summer hours though so it will change this summer (9 hrs 4x's a week, 1/2 day off fridays)

We are SUPPOSED to leave the house at 7am but these days it's been more like 8am On normal days we are home by 5pm to let the nanny go home and pick up Wagon Jr. from daycare.

I have been leaving at 9:30 and DH gets off at 3 to get LO. This way I can work as late as I want and LO is only in care for about 20 hours a week. (care 3 days a week)

We haven't started this yet because our LO isn't here yet, but the hope is that Hubs will handle day-care drop offs and I'll handle pick-ups. So my goal will be:
6:50 - Leave Home
7:30 - Arrive at Work
4:30 - Leave Work
5:15 - Pick up LO from Daycare
5:30 - Arrive Home
Hubs will probably have to leave at 7:00 to drop LO off at daycare before he goes to work.

I do all drop-offs at sitter, DH usually does pick-up.
6:45-leave home
6:50-arrive at sitter's house
7:00-7:10-leave sitter's house
8:00-8:10-arrive at work
4:30-leave work
5:15-5:45-arrive at home (depending upon traffic)

@littlebittyhouse: Depends on the day. For what it's worth, my job classification means that I have to work 9-6 most days and 12-9 one day per week. When I returned from leave, I begged them to let me work 8-5 most days and 12-9 one day. It was a huge deal for them to let me do this at all, and the deal we eventually struck was that I can do this until the end of March and then I have to resume 9-6. Really not looking forward to that, as it means I will only get about 40 min. with LO before his bedtime!
On 8-5 days, I leave for work at 7:40 (coffee then work w/ short commute) while DH drops LO at daycare. I pick LO up at 5:15, and we're home by 5:20ish.
I work 9-6 some weekend days, so LO is home with DH all day. I leave at 8:40 and get home around 6:20.
One day a week I work 12p-9p. On that day I also have morning appointments, so I drop LO at daycare and leave the house around 8:30. DH picks LO up around 5:30, and I don't get home until about 9:20p. As you can imagine, that's my least favorite day of the week.

I usually leave the house by 8am at the latest. A lot of that depends lately on LO's wakeup and night. I get home around 5:30p.m. Almost immediately after, I pick LO up from the daycare since I don't want him to be the last kid there. He's usually hanging out with another kid whose mom has a similar schedule to mine.
I work from home one day a week which tends to be my laundry and chore day in the middle of the week.

I leave at 7:20 at the latest and get home between 5:30-45. Fridays are the best because I leave at 7:45 and get home at 1:00!

Depends. If I go to the office, I leave between 6:30 (early slash non-hair washing days) and 7:30 (normal hair washing days). If I'm in Court, sometimes I can leave at 8:30. Sigh. I get home around 8:30-45 most nights. The condo we're trying to buy is located 15 minutes from work so I'll lose the commute but DH will gain it.

hahahaha... this is my biggest struggle....
When I'd like to leave- 7:30 a.m.
When I actually leave- between 7:30 a.m. - 8:15 a.m.
Pick up LO at daycare at 5:30
GOLD / cantaloupe / 6581 posts
Schedule now:
7:20 leave house, at work by 7:35
3:35 leave work, home by 4
When baby comes (I'm guesstimating):
6:45 leave house, work by 7:15
DH will take LO to daycare at 7:45am to get to wok by 8
3:15 leave work, pick up LO at daycare by 330, home by 345
DH will leave work at 5 and be home 530ish
That's the plan, at least!

I drop off & my husband picks up. So:
Leave home - 7:00
Drop off LO - 7:15
At work (elementary school) - 7:45
Husband picks up LO - 4:15
I'm home - 5:00
Somedays I skive off early and get home at 4:30/4:45, but usually that bites me in the ass later when I have a million things to do over the weekend.
I don't know how some of you do those long days!! I'm majorly impressed.

I do both pick up and drop off since DH and I work the same hours but his commute is much longer. Here's my schedule:
7:50 leave house
8:00 drop off LO at daycare, at work by 8:20
5:00 leave work
5:20 pick up LO from daycare, home by 5:30

I only go into the office 3 half days a week, so I leave at 6:45 but DH drops off around 8. I pick up 12:15 from the sitter. The other 2 days DH 'drops off' to me in our home office at 8 and I start at 6:15 to get some uninterupted work time and work until noon.

Baby isn't here yet but this is how it should go:
6:45 leave house
7:15 drop off at day care
7:30 at work
4:30 leave work
4:45 pick up at day care
5:30-6:00 get home, depending on traffic

Leave at 6:55am, get home at 4:35pm. 3 days/week DS is at home (my mom watches him at my house), and 2 days/week i pick him up at IL's. On those days i get to their house at 4:30 and get home at around 5, as I usually stay to chat a bit.

Right now I'm only half days as part of my mat leave. So I leave at 7:15 am and get home and 12:40 pm. I wish I could work these hours forever.

How long does it take all of you to drop off your LO at day care?
I'm pre-planning, because I have to leave the house SUPER early as it is--6:45 am-- because I have an hour commute and school starts at 8 am. If I have to drop future-LO off on the way, I'll have to leave earlier, which sounds awful.
I'm hoping we can find a place close enough that DH can do drop-off around 7:45 on his way to work, but he walks to the subway, so it has to be somewhere walking distance and all those places have waiting lists.
I get home around 4, so would be picking up LO anywhere from 4-4:15.
