What time does your LO go to bed/wake up in the morning? I've read infants should get anywhere from 10 to 12 hours of sleep a night and I'm hoping 10 will cut it.
I have to be at work by 8 and daycare/work is 30 minutes from home so I'd have to leave by 7 to drop off LO and get to work on time. I'm thinking I'd have to give myself a couple of hours to get ready in the morning but could probably get away with getting LO up at 6 to eat and get dressed.
I work until 5 so with picking him up I'd get home around 6 - 6:30 (traffic is worse in the afternoon and I figure there'd be more chatting upon pickup). After nursing, bathing, and the rest of the bedtime routine, plus time my husband and i will want to spend with LO in general, I figure the earliest I could get him down would be 8.
Does 8-6 sound like an ok night of sleep? Or not enough? I'm struggling to figure out how I could get LO to bed any earlier than that, unless I'm overestimating the amount of time it will take to get him settled once we get home. I'm also figuring once he starts solids we will need to fit his dinner in there.
I'm really stressed out about all this! I know I won't really know till I start doing it, but does the above sound doable or like a recipe for disaster? He's already going to bed at 8 but I want to start waking him up at the "right" time to get him used to it, and if I need to move his bedtime earlier I want to start doing that, as well.
