I work in IT, so my department is relatively young (mid-20's-early 30's), but the rest of the company is older (mid-50's/60's).

If I had to guess, the average age in my group is 45. I know of several people who are in the 50's and a couple in their 60's, but not many.

Honestly there is a such a progression. We have 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s (with a fair amount of people in each group).

I'm in a public accounting firm, so most people are in their 20s.

My job is super small. For full-time staff it is 30s and 40s. For part-time staff and interns it's late 20s-60s, quite a range.

We have some younger and some older but I would guess the median is mid to upper 30s.
