Plan toys has a lot of gender neutral doll houses. We have one and my son really likes it. There are lots of other options out there, I have seen them in catalogs like Magic Cabin.

I'm obsessed with this one (and others by the same company): http://www.hazelnutkids.com/item/EA4031/Elves-Angels-Seri-s-Wooden-Dollhouse-DS/1.html
they are really expensive, but heirloom quality. A playgroup we go to has one, and its gorgeous. Plus, it is so simple and allows for all kind of open-ended play. We will buy one for our daughter- probably for her second birthday. Maybe go halve-sies with my parents....but I figure she can play with it for a long time.
I played with my dollhouse until I was 11 or 12- thats a lot of years of play!

@stargal: This is the one we have. http://www.amazon.com/Plan-Toys-Dollhouse-Series-Terrace/dp/B001E857Q4/ref=sr_1_8?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1384272275&sr=1-8&keywords=play+toys+doll+house. He does like it, he actually likes it better than his big sister does . I feel that this model is a little cramped though and there's not a lot of room for furniture. I like the chalet one because it seems easier for little hands to access the rooms. And btw that is a great deal that you found!!
