My LO was a late tether. She didn't get her first tooth until she was about 10.5 months old. Her second tooth came in just a few days later, and she got her third and fourth teeth right around her first birthday
Now she's 14 months old and there are no signs of new teeth. I'm starting to get a little worried. Is it normal for a baby to just stop growing teeth like this?! We have had no new teeth or teething symptoms for two months now...

LO is 12 months and she still only has 2 teeth!! I was worried, but i figure her teeth will come in time.

My daughter is 12.5 months, and she has 7 teeth. She's had 7 for *ages* now with no signs of getting any more. I'm not so worried about the fact that she hasn't gotten any new teeth recently as I am about the fact that tooth number 8 is mysteriously missing. The unpaired tooth definitely worries me!

@skibobrown: My LO had seven teeth forever! She was missing the side bottom left one (of the front four). I think she got the other ones by 9 months or so. She just got tooth #8 around 15 months along with her first four molars...so ridiculous!
I was secretly worried that she did not have a tooth there and would have a gap in her mouth forever! I just wanted to say that your LO is not the only one!

My daughter is almost one and only has two teeth! She's had them for six months.

E is just getting her two teeth in at 11 months (almost). The doctor said to expect for her 15 month molars to be late because she's a late tether too!

My little guy has been sporadically getting teeth in, by 14 months he got all front teeth but his one of his final bottom lateral incisors. It had my husband worried, so I asked the pediatrician at his 15 month appointment... and it started cutting the next day. My pediatrician just said not to worry, they catch up eventually.
A friend with a baby the same age got all his molars in about 2 months before mine even started getting his. I just go with every baby is different, and they eventually catch up.

@MungBean: We were very similar with teeth. Finally all of a sudden her four molars popped through. She is still missing her two teeth next to her top two big teeth.

My LO is also a late teether. But I was too, so I think it's normal for us.

Babies are all on there own schedule. All baby teeth should be in by 36 months. If they aren't there by then that's when you should be concerned. Anything else is fair game!
