DH and I hardly go to the theater, we only have our weekends after long weeks of school and work so usually we just redbox a movie and snuggle up with the dogs after j goes to bed.
Tonight we got The Purge. Worst. Movie. Ever. We had NO clue what it was about, some friends recommended it to us...uh...no. They clearly so t know us and we will never trust their taste again LOL 
we don't go for senseless violence...no thanks!

Now, I finish movies. It's rare that I don't watch a whole movie. Especially about vampires. I stopped halfway through and if i were in the theatre I would have left and asked for my money back.

There was a 'Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunter' movie out recently, and my Dad was trying to get us to watch it - we ended up accidentally finding a spoof or something of it, which was SO BAD. Cannibal witches that were feeding the town pieces of children unknowingly... super creepy and just awful, not even good creepy

I recently watched a step up movie for the first time (i think the 3rd one)... we were watching with friends but it was so bad I had to turn it off! maybe about an hour in... I rarely do that with movies!

I watch bad movies on purpose sometimes. Like random made for tv Christmas movies on netflix. Picked a real gem this past weekend with Elizabeth Berkley as a single mom who won the lottery, but then a guy stole the lottery ticket from her, but then they fell in love! haha

The Host. I had read the book (same author as Twilight) and the movie was oh so terrible. There's way too much inner monologue and arguing between two people in one body (don't ask) for it to translate to a movie.

@babyjmama: ugh the purge was horrible. It had a cool concept but it turned into your typical slasher film. Lame.
