agree with @zippylef: I bought Liv's Britax on there and had no problems with it, but I made sure the order was either fulfilled by Amazon or that the retailer that was selling it was authorized by Britax.

I think both my infant and convertible seats are from Amazon.

Got all my carseats off Amazon with no issues. If you find something that's off, Amazon has the best return policy - I've never had trouble returning anything either whether it was big or small!

I don't think you have to worry about a fake as long as it's expensive to make, like a carseat. But having said that, I still stay away from 3rd party dealers because I was one that got burned from an Ergo fake. I was disappointed by how long it took to resolve. So even though it says, Amazon guarantee, they still have to give the vendor time to tell their side and offer compensation and if it's not a full refund they're willing to offer, like in my case, it was a lengthy, stressful process.

Now I only buy things from Amazon fulfilled by Amazon, especially if it's big and heavy and would be expensive to return.
