I'm looking at convertibles on Amazon, and there's an open box for one of them that's 30% cheaper than the regular price. But with it being a car seat, it makes me nervous to order the open box one? What do you think?

I bought 2 from NBD and 1 floor model from BBB. They were all in great shape.

My concern would just be not knowing it's history, and the chance of getting really chucked around with the extra shipping back and forth. Probably totally fine though. Personally, I'd probably just watch for a sale, which is what we did with all of our (6!) seats. We just bought two more Diono Radians at Justkidsstore.com for $199 each, in case that's one you're considering.

Usually the tags are still attached. If you got it andthetags were off I think amazon would take it back

Not from Amazon bc their return policy is very lax and especially not if it's not sold direct by Amazon.

We returned our first car seat to amazon. I took it out of the box and didnt like how the handle felt, so returned it...
I would hope most returns are for color/fit/aesthetics
