I realized that Lo threw one of her crocs out of my car on Monday. Called the restaurant and theY found the shoe outside.
The crocs were 40 bucks and they change color in the sun... Really cute shoes.
It's rush hour and I'm on my way home with Lo. It's dinner time for her.... Thank God I have cheddar bunnies and snacks with me.
Ugh.

Oh no! I'm not sure I'd spend $40 on shoes to begin with.... so I'd probably leave them. But if I did some how magically become not so cheap and spent that much on shoes, I'd go back for them.

@BabyBoecksMom: It's 15 miles away and I don't think they would have mailed them to me.. I probably wouldn't have been able to sleep in peace knowing they were there too. HAHA. Happy I have them back!
@NYCaliMama: I would have gone tomorrow, but I wanted her to wear them to our morning play date tomorrow.
These are the shoes! SO happy it was found and hadn't been run over!
They turn pink in the sun! I love my LO's ankle rolls

I got our crocs on Zulily for $9... so I don't think I'd drive back, and ours aren't nearly as cool as yours!

@Mrs. Jacks: ugh! I wish I had seen them for $9 on zulily! DH and I bought them last minute because we needed shoes for our beach trip. -.- never spending that much on baby shoes again

For a $40 shoe, heck yeah. I drove 60 minutes round trip for a robe my mom left at a hotel once. She loved that robe so much. Haha.

i would, but i know my husband would not want me to. he'd offer to pay me $40 to stay home lol. he always says stuff like that. like when i want to recycle cans for money. "i'll give you $5 - just throw them out"...
and btw, $40 for shoes??? i hope she gets good wear out of them!
btw, saw the pic above, SO CUTE! lucky no one took it. but i guess who would take just 1 shoe?

I'd probably just get them another day when/if I was in the area. I used to work in a restaurant and people would leave all kinds of stuff...usually we'd just hang onto it until they came to get it if they said they would.

20 minutes away is NOTHING where I live. I would drive 20 minutes one way if I thought I might have left it there, and wouldn't even be upset if it turned out to be in the car the whole time.
But I used to drive over an hour each way to work, and my grocery store is even a drive...
It's all about how far you usually drive for things.
BUT, like @lydg said, I might wait until another day if the restaurant said it was there.

You sound just like me! I hate when a piece of one of DDs toys is missing & a missing shoe drives me crazy as well! I would drive back or replace them, depending on which was cheaper gas wise.

Yep, I forgot my purse (I know WAAAYY different but still) I left it at a truck stop once, and we had to drive an hour and a half there and back, so 3 hours total!

I would! I'm a cheap Asian... plus like @pastemoo said, 20 minutes one way isn't that long (but then again, I don't have my LO yet, so it might feel a lot longer with a baby in the car).
